Raclette comes from the root of the French word ‘rackler’, in English means to scrape because the cheese should be sliced??. Apart from Switzerland, the food is also a typical meal in France.
Raclette is a commonly eaten food in the winter, consisting of a special cheese melted and boiled potatoes. Probably similar to cheese fondue.
