Useful sources for startup business

If you’re thinking about starting a business, you may not know how, or if now is the right time, then turn to other sources to help answer these questions.

Preparation is the key to a lot of challenges in life and in starting, running and owning a business is no different. You must be ready when business is slow, and be prepared to expand when business is great. So what are these sources that can help you get started?

1] The Library – Or, more specifically, their local library. With the popularity of the Internet to research many people have forgotten about this valuable resource. Not only contain millions of books, journal articles and tools to help you succeed, but people who work there are very valuable to you. My library has a person working there with the sole purpose of helping to refine and polish your business plan. I’m sure yours has one too.

2] SBA (Small Business Administration) – The government would like nothing more than to help you not only start a business but to succeed it. When you succeed to create jobs that create wealth. They can help with managing your business, expand, increase sales with some useful advice, financing through guaranteed loans and of course ongoing support. You can visit their website by typing Small Business Administration on Google. Know that site and what the SBA can do for you.

3] SCORE (Small Business Advisors USA) – This organization is made up of thousands of volunteers (10,500 to be exact), which remains active, retired or working as professionals in specific areas. You more than likely a dozen advisers a few miles from his home at this time. I have personally worked with 13 directors in different set-up my own plan of business . These advisors are a great source of knowledge and experience.

Do not forget your own local municipal, county and state government offices. They also want to see your business succeed. The business expanding to help create jobs which in turn increases the value of the municipality and state of residence. So for your local and state governments to help non-government it would be foolish.

Meet these sources and get to know them well. They will be your guiding light on the path to their entrepreneurial dreams.
