Ideas and Innovation: From the papers to reality

One of the keys to the success of a new product, service or business model is the solution of the conflicts that inevitably arise among the people in charge of daily operation and innovation managers.
It is not often associated with innovation performance. More common is to think of new concept, new products and revolutionary slogans. So many good ideas remain on paper and fail to be translated into practice, argues Chris Trimble specialist expert in innovation for large organizations.
In their view, execution is the key to innovation. “Thomas Edison made the same point more than a century ago: the genius is one percent inspiration and 99 percent of transpiración.El typical innovation process puts the focus on generating ideas, refine them, choose the best and, finally, implement, “he says. “As a result, companies have more ideas than they can implement and many never come to fruition.”
