The ‘tablet’ computers gaining ground
growth being experienced by the ‘tablet’ in the little time it shows that new technologies are being well received by the public. A recent Google study clarifies that 43% of respondents use more tablet device to your PC or laptop and a third of them more than the TV itself.
The study conducted by the U.S. company, Google, has surveyed a total of 1,430 people about their habits of life in the IT environment. It shows a substantial growth of the ‘tablets’ which is situated almost equally with the PC in daily use (43% use them more).
Regarding the usage habits, 68 percent of respondents use their ‘tablets’ an hour a day and usually at home (82%). Similarly concentrate their use during the weekends (69% of respondents) and preferably at night time (62%).
Its preferred use is still low since only 28% of those surveyed using it as the main computing device and 72% still feel more comfortable with the use of PC or laptop computer as a source of entertainment.
As for the use which gives the ‘tablets’, the trends are focused on the practice of video games (84%), information search (78%) and email management (74%).
Among the less common uses include online shopping, only 42% practice and reading e-books (46%).
As a conclusion is drawn that 77 percent of users who regularly use ‘tablets’ has decreased its use of PC and laptop is adversely affecting the new generation of devices.
